To conceptualise whole-of-government data management initiatives to enable government agencies to leverage on data management;
Obtain buy-in and support from key stakeholders for the whole-of-government data management initiatives;
Establish collaboration with the infocomm industry and government agencies.
To develop ICT programmes to achieve the vision, goals and strategic outcomes for the whole-of-government data management master plan. Engage and manage the stakeholders, industry partners and agencies to deliver the ICT solutions and services to achieve the outcomes of the approved programmes
To develop and enhance the relationship with key stakeholders in both the industry and government agencies to drive alignment of industry and government agencies ICT efforts to the larger vision, goals and strategic objectives.
To implement the appropriate ICT governance, financial and performance management framework to achieve the organizational and national objectives
Requirements:
Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related studies.
At least 8 years of relevant ICT project/programme management experience
Good knowledge of government infocomm environment (e.g. agency management structure, government policies and procedures, government/agency infrastructure and applications etc)
Good knowledge of data management technologies and trends
Strong programme management skills
Strong persuasion, influencing and communication skills
Good key stakeholder management skills.
Ability to understand and effectively analyse a situation and make decisions to address issues and problems.
