Purchasing Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

The Role
  • To issue purchase orders to vendors in a timely manner
  • Liaise with vendor for PO acknowledgement
  • Filing of purchase orders and scanning of document
  • Tracking of outstanding requests till issue of purchase orders
  • Follow up on urgent order delivery if required
  • Assist to negotiate best pricing and terms and condition with vendor
  • Assist request for quotation if required
  • Assist in generating purchasing report for management reporting
  • Other ad hoc assignment as per management request
Qualifications & Experience
  • ITC/Diploma in Logistics / Purchasing or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience in Logistic/Supply Chain/Inventory Management or equivalent
  • Meticulous with good organization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Good Microsoft and computer skill
  • SAP knowledge is an added advantage
  • Good team-player and interpersonal skills.


  • Qualification: A-Level, ITC/NTC, O-Level

  • Salary range: From: $1,800 To: $2,200
  • Location: West
