Responsibilities
As an economist in the company, you provide economic analysis and advice on policies that impact Singapore's Infocomm sector economic competitiveness.
Your role involves carrying in-depth policy-oriented research, including surveillance, analysis and forecasting of economic trends.
You may be required to construct and manage econometric models used in forecasting and policy simulation.
Requirements
Good Honours degree (or equivalent) in Economics from a university of international standing. Strong applicants from related fields such as Statistics, Finance or Business Administration will also be considered.
Postgraduate qualifications will be considered favourably.
Strong econometrics skills for forecasting, policy modelling and scenario developments will be considered favorably.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to express complex ideas simply and logically
