Production Technician/ Process Technician Chemical Manufacturing MNC
Job Responsibilities:
PRODUCTION
- Compounding/ Formuation of chemicals for production
- Support all production processes & equipment
- Lead projects as assigned and provide support as required
- Compound chemicals/powders/ fragrances/ flavours in accordance with SOP
- Support shift team to achieve target set
- Participate as member in Total Productive Management team
PROCESS ENGINEERING/ R&D
- Carry out industrialization assessment and scale up test in laboratory and production plant
- Assist in the investigation, evaluation and development of new processes and/or new technologies in order to develop new range of products and/or to improve the performance of our present product portfolio
- Identify training needs, enhance team work across departments
- Support manufacturing through production troubleshooting
- Interface between Research and Technology (R&T), Supply Chain (Customer service, Production, Planning and Procurement), Quality, Engineering, Sales & Marketing & contractors / suppliers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Min NITEC in Food Science/ Food Process Technology/ Chemical Engineering or related fields
- At least 1 year of relevant experience (Food Sciences/ Fragrance is a PLUS)
- Those who exhibit leadership qualities/ have experience in leading a team will be considered for more senior / supervisory role
- Working location in mainland Singapore itself/ Shift or Meals allowances to be provided
