Junior Medical Technologist (Histology, Pathology Dept)

Job Responsibilities:

Salary: Below $2,600 

Responsibilities:

1. To perform routine histological tests in the Department of Pathology for use in the treatment and diagnosis of diseases. 
2. Perform reception of laboratory specimens, assign charge codes and rejection of those that are unacceptable lot
3. Perform various technical functions including processing, embedding, microtomy, routine and complex staining, mounting and labeling of prepared slides and block check.
4. Comply with good laboratory practice on all procedures in accordance with the laboratory protocols and SOPs.

Requirements:

• Diploma in relevant sciences 
• Keen interest in lab work and tests 
• Meticulous and good proficiency in computer system & software
