Job Responsibilities:

Role: HR and Training Officer

Location: East

Working hours: Mondays to Fridays, Office hours

  • Work with recruitment agents on the hiring of non-executive positions / identify creative modes of recruitment for positions that are challenging to fill
  • Understanding of recruitment requirements from individual divisional heads and supervisors and be the point of contact between them for updates on the recruitment status of vacant positions
  • Screening and selection of potential candidates
  • Preparation of documents required for new hires and liaise with them on all aspects prior to work commencement, such as signing of Offer Letter and pre-employment medical check-up

Onboarding and Uniform Collection

  • Orientate new employees on their first day of work and ensure all recruitment related documents are properly collated
  • Plan, coordinate, order, pack and keep track of all aspects of staff uniform (uniform, name tag, safety shoes, staff card) to ensure stock is available and sufficient
  • Maintain the staff uniform inventory list on a timely basis to ensure accuracy of the records

Employee Relations / benefits

  • Assist Manager (HR & Training) in planning and implementing appropriate staff activities, including Annual Staff Party
  • Assist Manager (HR & Training) on staff canteen issues, provide timely feedback pertaining to food and services provided by the staff canteen and carry out investigations (where applicable) on complaints
  • Assist in all other staff benefits administration


  • Handle and investigate complaints pertaining to shuttle bus transportation
  • Coordinate and inform all staff pertaining to information and updates about Company's panel of doctors, update the health service provider with new and resigned employees, and liaise with Finance department to ensure payment to the provider is made promptly
  • Ensure stationery for HR division is sufficiently stocked up at all times
  • Administrative duties pertaining to raising of Purchase Request for stationery, etc.
  • Assist Senior Executive (HR & Training) in the coordination/collection of performance appraisal forms for the twice yearly Appraisal Exercise
  • Checking and tabulation of award winners for Perfect Attendance and Perfect Medical Award
  • Assist in entering relevant data into the Time Management System (TMS) when required
  • Assist in logistics for the annual Organisation Climate Survey


  • Minimum GCEO or A levels or equivalent with 2 years of relevant experience in the same capacity
  • Must be proficient in written English
  • Able and willing to multi-tasK
  • Able to communicate with people of all levels
  • Possess a positive mindset and good attitude


  • Qualification: A-Level, Diploma, O-Level
