Business Analyst/ Senior Business Analyst, Payments Supplementary & Beauty Products Company
Job Responsibilities:
Must be able to perform some SAP systems configuration; assist with testing and validation and help drive projects forward. Preference will be given to candidates with sales order process and/or payment card industry experience and process knowledge. Experience with documenting business and system requirements, software configuration, interface support and interacting with technical development teams and 3rd party vendors/partners is also preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or other industry certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of project management life cycle skills and methodology
- Teaching or training experience preferred
- Possess excellent organizational skills
Job Summary:
The role of the Business Analyst is to proactively promote process improvement and identify technology needs in their assigned business areas to enable decision makers to make better choices faster.
They must provide analysis of business and user needs, document requirements, and revises existing logic as necessary; participate in process and systems analysis; and consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.
The Business Analyst is an integral part of the development process and acts as a bridge between the External End Users/Customers and the Software Development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand, document and articulate Company’s business practices using approved methodologies, templates and tools.
- Work directly with business and technical personnel to identify, define and document business needs and objectives to add value and meet corporate objectives.
- Conduct gap analysis between current and future processes and system functionality.
- Recommend solutions to ensure gap closure between current state and desired future state of processes and system functionality and future system enhancements and/or modifications while meeting Company’s business objectives.
- Conduct change impact analysis to assess the potential implication of system changes.
- Create professional end-user training documentation (hard-copy or online) and training simulations by conveying key process and application information.
- Perform end-user training to ensure applicable personnel are trained on essential job functions.
- Effectively interact with individuals, departments, and companies outside the organization to gain critical information.
- Participates in user acceptance testing and regression testing of new system functionality.
- Monitor all business support processes and system functionality within a given area of expertise for accuracy and efficiency after a process and/or application change.
- Travel internationally to implement, train, and support market/business initiatives.
- Assist in the research, design, and development of applicable key performance indicators (KPI's) for corporate and local market executives and management.
For Senior Business Analyst Qualifications:
- Seven + years’ experience related to their respective field of expertise.
- Four + years’ experience applicable system(s) experience including configuration, troubleshooting, testing and documentation.
- Two + years’ experience managing multiple parallel projects required.
