Responsible for coordinating, planning, and leading the IT Project currently in operations.
Determine the IT Project needs from the organization and help support the operation and processes running as part of the project execution / day 2 operations support.
Monitor performance of project systems to determine cost and efficiency levels so as to make recommendations for improvements
Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
Manage platform & system vendors including their deliverables
Assist to manage the onsite support staff for ops support related issues till resolution.
Troubleshoot technical issues (Project related & Ops related)
Provide timely & periodic report on progress of issues encountered, work on hand & outstanding deliverables.
Be the escalation point for onsite issues from onsite support on technical issues and SPOC on Operational matters for the IT project.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in IT or a related discipline, preferably with at least 5 years' relevant experience
Experience in managing projects and vendor performance will be an advantage.
Demonstrated ability in leading and managing IT projects, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
Experience in system analysis and design or programming
Preferably with ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts
Good working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and databases
Have some good application background in application development such as Microsoft platform such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power BI.
Understand best practices and standards (ITIL, ISO 27001, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, etc)
